AS CONTRIBUIÇÕES DA FONOAUDIOLOGIA NA INCLUSÃO EDUCACIONAL DE PESSOAS COM DEFICIÊNCIA NA REDE ESTADUAL DE EDUCAÇÃO EM GOIÁS.

Abstract

Speech pathology and education walk together. Since the beginning of the formation of a speech pathologist the bias education follows the trajectory of this professional. Analyze our own history is a challenge. Even greater, when the beginning of this study is related to the implementation of a new educational conception, the inclusion of people with disabilities in regular school. This research began with attempting to answer some questions and to seek understanding the importance of speech therapy in the process of educational inclusion of students with disabilities in regular schools. Our main questions involved the recognition and speech therapy in this context. It is natural that during the journey, the struggles make us go and look at other details as or more relevant. And so it was. In the course of our work to identify who these professionals, such as working in the educational environment and what their perceptions of the work done, directed us to a particular way of seeing and recognizing speech therapy in special education specifically in the process of educational inclusion of students with disabilities. The research was based on the theoretical principles of the dialectical method, where everything is viewed from constant modifications, there is always something that is born and develops and something that breaks up and transforms. The methodology involved literature review, document analysis and semi-structured interviews. The survey was conducted with 14 of the 15 professional now involved in speech therapy in Goiânia by the State Department of Education of Goiás based on the data, our analysis involved mainly the conceptions and perceptions of professionals about their work and the recognition of this by the school itself and the secretary of education. The reality of Goiás state schools is no different from other public schools in Brazil. Speech pathologists face difficulties of every order to act in the common schools. The educational speech therapy is organized from the concepts that they have the specificity of their action and interferences reality where they are inserted. In this work special and inclusive schools and their historicity, line the design of this professional activity.
