Infância e violência física intrafamiliar: Os significados e sentidos para crianças vítimas

Abstract

With the goal of understanding the meanings and senses, for children victims of physical intra-familiar violence, of they live submitted to the violence, it was proceeded to a brief revision, of historical character, about the violence against child, resells the conceptions of childhood, since the Medium Age until the Contemporary Age. In the research, it was lifted the occurrences registered at the Police Station of Investigation of Crimes Against Children and Adolescents, to a better visualization of the phenomenon in Goiania and, later, it was chosen among those occurrences, seven children to be interviewed, being three of the feminine sex and four of the masculine sex. The methodology was based in the sociohistorical approach proposed by Vygotsky. Taking the categories child and physical intrafamiliar violence, considered in their history, it was searched to understand, starting from the children s speeches, the meanings and senses of the cultural values that reinforce the practice of the violence. Those categories were studied in association with other as adult-centrism and hierarchy of power, perceived as something natural inside the families and in the society in a general way, in spite of the legal protection represented by ECA. The intra-familiar violence produces a singularity of the family relationship and of the child's cultural references, once the family loses its privileged place of socialized and protecting institution, and the coexistence among its members also loses its original sense, starting to reinforce the values of the patriarcalism and of the inferiority of the childhood, that takes the children to live in a fear and insecurity environment. Although the suffering is demonstrated to every moment, as the family is an established culturally protection locus, the children have dreams and hopes of a worthier future, always related to a possible family democracy. The physical intra-familiar violence against children is inherent, therefore, to the concepts and the social rules that orientate the aggressor's practice and of his family, and into it explicit the relationship between the individual and the social, in the measure in that the family integrates the conditions and the logic that produce the violence. What is searched for in the accomplishment of researches in that area, through the qualitative epistemology, it is to find forms that contribute so much to the prevention of the violence, as for the elaboration of proposals work psychosocial returned to the families, seeking the warranty of emotional and physical development healthy for the children in a general way.
