Abstract

This study approaches the relation between the conditions and the organization of the Goiás military police officer s activities and the psychic consequences caused by work. The perspective of investigation is carried out through the historical process and the psychodynamics of the work, in which its aim is the basis of the discussion and must be perceived in a wide context. The metamorphosis which are imposed to the so called world s work facing the current accumulation pattern known as flexible accumulation provokes impacts in all social structure as well as the working class. The contemporary capitalism in the last decades has been causing an increase at the unemployment rate and social inequality. This way it is analyzed through the categories about urbanism, security, social inequality and violence, the connection of these features on the contemporary capitalist system, the participation of neoliberalists States which makes the government participation more difficult, produces contradictions, consequently tensions, antagonisms and an uncontrolled individualism that has lead to social exclusion. Social development which is taken in urban life is translated to the theory of the social classes that implicates in a contradiction between the capital and the work. This aspects have been provoking impacts on the work s schedule of the military police officer who suffered any kind of mental disorder. It is also present a study about the relation between health, medicine and society. Brings the historical conceptions and the economical impact upon the worker s health. Reflects about the human s relation with the crazyness along the history and discusses the policy on mental health based on repeated ways of disrespect to the person s psychic suffering.
