A REPRESENTAÇÃO DAS PERSONAGENS FEMININAS EM ELOS DA MESMA CORRENTE, DE ROSARITA FLEURY.

Abstract

This assignment deals with the aspects of the female discursive representativity in Elos da mesma corrente, of the goiana writer Rosarita Fleury. From researches about the theory of the feminism as a gender, we ve analyzed, in the referred work, the female figure as a participative being of and in the social, historic and familiar contexts. This way, the research divides itself in three moments, having as a support Butler (2010), Dalcastagne (2002), Foucault (1996), Muraro (1997), Zollin (2003) among other theorists. Firstly, we discussed the theory of the feminism as a gender, which must be understood as a cultural construction and not as a received data from nature at the birth moment. In a second instance, a study about the approaches of the feminist criticism and the investigation of the literature done by women, in an attempt to emphasize the biological, linguistic, psychoanalytical and political-cultural approaches. So, we traced an approach about the process of exclusion of marginalized groups and the space occupied by the subject who speaks in the novel, with the objective of investigating the situation of the woman as integrant part of a society of tradition of male knowing. In a third moment, the analysis of the female characters, with the intuit of promoting the recognizing of the literature of Rosarita Fleury, from the feminine conscience which develops there. The analysis of this writing implies a cutting in relation to the hegemonic ideas in the patriarchal society, once focused in the speeches of the female characters of Elos da mesma corrente: Angela, Coronel Alfredo s wife, and his daughters Arabela, Isabel, Carolina and Madalena. It discusses, so, the representation of the female characters in Rosarita Fleury s novel which can be seen not only from a conscience of the difference among people, but also from the point of view of that we are not a total subject, but with edges and developments.
