EDUCAÇÃO E DIVERSIDADE ÉTNICO RACIAL

Abstract

This study is part of the Education, Society and Culture Research Line and Research Directory CNPq-PUC Goiás, Education, History, Memory and Cultures in different social spaces; circumscribed in the theme Ethnic and Racial Education and Diversity. The general objective was to identify the revealed portraits of this subject, expressed in the daily school life learned in the summaries of the dissertations in the area of education defended in the period between the years 2006 to 2016. It was also tried: a) To elaborate a State of Knowledge of this subject, covering the Dissertations of the Education Area between the years 2006 - 2016, registered in the Digital Bank of Theses and Dissertations BDTD / CAPES with the filter "Ethnic-Racial Issues"; b) Demonstrate how ethnic-racial issues are reproduced in manifestations of racism in school; c) Contribute to Teacher Training to work ethno-racial diversity in school spaces, overcoming the monocultural paradigm, which ignores differences and imposes fragile legal equality. It was a bibliographical research, of qualitative and exploratory nature with theoretical contributions of Malerba and Bertoni (2001); Brandão (2002); Hernandez (2005); Mello e Souza (2006); Souza and Crosso (2007); d'Adesky (2008); Heywood (2012); White; Oliveira (2012), among others. The theoretical and empirical analyzes made by these authors ratified the importance of the investigations of this thematic one contributing in the combat to the prejudices, discriminations, violence, racism, whose historical origins go back to the colonizing past. From the consultation carried out at the BDTD / CAPES, 56 (Fifty and Six) Dissertations were inserted in 15 (Fifteen) Knowledge Areas, 29 (Twenty-nine), 51.0% of Education being selected for theoretical interlocutions -empirical. The objects of study included: diversity, difference, prejudices, implementation of Law 10.639 / 2003, affirmative actions-quotas for admission to higher education; training of teachers of early childhood education, youth and adult education (EJA), identity and training of black teachers, education for ethnic-racial relations, racism, among others; (except for two: PUC-SP and PUC-RGS), 72% of which were carried out by Women Researchers. Portraits of how ethno-racial diversity manifests itself in school (in this study most of them in early childhood education classes EJA and only one in the university), possible apprehension in the conclusions of the dissertation summary were: a) The impacts of Law 10.639 / 2003 and the National Curricular Guidelines in order to guide school institutions to understand and recognize the diversity of ethnic-racial relations; b) Highlight for Teacher Training, especially in early childhood education, with a view to new anti-racist attitudes and practices in school spaces; c) Itineraries of School Formation and Identity of Black Teachers; d) Role played by social movements, especially black, in the achievements of Law 10.639 / 2003, as well as the CNE National Guidelines in July 2004; e) The School Curriculum Didactic Books and Children's Literature should incorporate in their contents antiracist guidelines, therefore education for diversity ie respectful, recognized ethnic-racial relations.
