O TRABALHO DE ASSISTENTES SOCIAIS NA MORADIA ESTUDANTIL UNIVERSITÁRIA DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DE GOIÁS

Abstract

This thesis aims to analyze the work of social workers in the Student House of the Federal University of Goiás, from 1990 to 2014. The prospects are that guide the trajectory of contemporary monopoly capitalism, the development of the modern state and of the ways took in each historical moment to meet the requirements of large capital changes in production and work, scatters throughout to other markets. In the capitalist world the periphery and in the Brazilian state, particularly in Brazil and Goiás, professional work of social workers, as a social and historical construction, is employed and the resulting social relations in a class society. Is exposed, then, how it is implemented, social direction and policy, emphasizing the educational process of collective participation of students living in University Students Homes (CEUs) in the execution of social welfare policy and the interface with higher education public. At the same time, analyzes it as part of the Student Movement / Student Homes Movement, organized bodies and political participation at the national, regional and local levels. The theoretical and methodological approach here trodden anchor yourself in the Gramscian Marxist tradition, emphasizing the bibliographical and documentary research.
