Estar só/estar com outro: sentidos expressos pelas profissionais e vivenciados pelos bebês em sua agência social

Abstract

This work belongs to the Education, Society and Culture research line, entitled 'Being alone - being with another: meanings expressed by professionals and experienced by babies in their social agency', which aimed to understand the meaning of being alone - being with another for professionals who work in Child Education Centers / day care and understand the social agencies of babies in the daily lives of the institutions surveyed. The being alone-being with another and social agency is the object of study of this research. Therefore, the research problem arose from the following question: What is the meaning of being alone - being with another attributed by the Nursery professionals and how is constituted the babies' social agency in the context of the educational work undertaken by them? For this, it sought, in the studies of the Sociology of Childhood, Pedagogy and Psychology, to understand more broadly the studies about and with babies. Thus, a state of knowledge was researched in the Digital Bank of Theses and Dissertations (BDTD) in the last 7 years, in order to survey the productions in the field of Education and Psychology about babies in their social agencies in the context of day care centers. It was also mapped articles produced by the National Association of Pos graduate Studies and Research in Education (ANPED) Children 0 to 6 years old Education Work Group (GT-07), between 2018 and 2019. The methodology consisted of a qualitative research, of the ethnographic type, which sought in the dialectical historical materialist approach to understand the constitutive nexus (historicity and contradictions). The research participants were professionals of early childhood education and babies aged between 1 year and 4 months to 2 years and 4 months of age, who are enrolled in the Child Education Centers / Nursery of the municipal public and philanthropic network in the city of Mineiros-GO. The data collection instruments were: observations in the field with the babies, notes in the field diary, recording of daily footage of babies, recording of photographs, transcription of videos, microanalysis of videos and extraction of footage from sequenced photographs; semi-structured interview with professionals about the research object; reading of the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) and the Early Childhood Education Curriculum. The theoretical framework started from an interdisciplinary perspective of the studies of Sociology and Sociology of Childhood, Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology that dialogue with the perspective of the social place, personal and pedagogical critics of the subjects involved in the process. The results showed that being alone is experienced by all babies in the two institutions surveyed, but it is not seen as a process of interaction by the professionals, because, largely in the name of socialization, there is an excessive predominance of interaction as a form of control and regulation, which takes away from the baby the condition of living its particularities, its individual needs, affecting the baby's own agency, denying its otherness
