O TEATRO GOIANO NO CONTEXTO DA DITADURA MILITAR: A DRAMATURGIA DE MIGUEL JORGE.

Abstract

The present work proposes an analysis of theatre realized in Brazil and in Goiás during the Military Regime and the forms of resistance that were conducted by the texts and reproach staging. In Brazil, highlights the groups like Arena, Grupo Opinião, Teatro Oficina, the drama realized in Popular Culture Centers of the National Union of Students (CPC of UNE) and others. In Goiás, the analysis covers the Goiás theatre in this connection of strong repression, theirs main representatives and theirs repercussions in the fields of culture and relations of power established. Guiding the analysis, the work still analysis the dramaturgy of Goiás writer Miguel Jorge and his texts censored in that period: O Visitante and Os Angélicos (1973). Fouder of the Group of New Writers, that became of utmost relevance amid artistic Goiás to unite various literary trends becoming an important pole of diffusion of new culture ideas in this crop in question, Miguel Jorge, through the recuperation of Symbolist drama as the beginning of the twenty century, could shap diverse voices that raised against the laws, using the transfiguration of language and imaging.
