ESTAÇÃO FERROVIÁRIA DE GOIÂNIA: UMA PROPOSTA DE USO TURÍSTICO

Abstract

The present study deals with a project called Railroad Station of Goiânia: A Proposal of Tourist Use. It is glimpsed to elaborate a program of tourist use for the station with intention to become it an option for the visitation and, parallel, to stir up the use of this good on the part of the Goianiense population, as leisure space and recreation, rising the recognition, the valuation and the preservation of this historical building. Although it is a National Architectural Patrimony, the building of the station does not have, currently, a public destination that propitiates its effective appropriation and valuation for the local community and for the people who visit the city. The object of the study excited the following problem: would that alternative be adjusted for the use of the railroad station? The methodology of inquiry of the problem encloses the bibliographical and documentary research, that subsidizes the qualitative research. It was also fulfilled, a data-collecting, together to the students of basic education and its teachers. The analysis of the data had as referencial theoretician the quarrel on the tourist planning and the memory, the construction of the identity and the preservation of the cultural patrimony, by means of the patrimonial education, in order to subsidize the elaboration of two plans of action to be developed in the railroad station, by means of photographic images; and Station in Scene, whose goal is to rescue the history of the railroad and the railroad station by the intermediate of the theater. Finally, it was proceeded the evaluation from the use plans, from the impacts, or not, of its accomplishment, its risks, as well as its multiplying effect, monitoring system, contemplating financial budget, capitation of resources and partnerships, that makes possible its execution.
