NAS TEIAS DO COMUNITARISMO CARISMÁTICO CATÓLICO: UMA ANÁLISE SOCIOLÓGICA DA COMUNIDADE VIDA NOVA EM PARINTINS/AM

Abstract

There is a significant change in the Brazilian religious field that points to a dynamic in Catholicism and a growing religious pluralism. In this religious field we can see phenomena such as institutional deregulation and a revival of Catholicism provided by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (RCC) and the formation of New Catholic Communities (NCC). The New Communities represent a consolidation of Catholic Pentecostalism by constituting a new way of life, a new ethos in the diversity and plurality of the religious universe. There are many forms of community that expand in contemporary modernity and the Catholic Community Life New is one of the proposals of communism and charismatic experience that we have experienced and which presents attributes very different from the constructs of the past. In this way, this study presents a sociological analysis on the Catholic community of Aliança Vida Nova, with work in the city of Parintins / Amazonas and objectively sought to understand the teciture of Catholic charismatic communitarianism, which, among the pluralistic processes of Catholicism, individualizes and distinguishes the said community; the reasons that led to its adhesion and the processes of empowering individuals to face the plots and dilemmas constituting contemporary modernity were also studied. The importance of the study of the forms of community sociabilities in the "New Life Alliance Community" and of the threads that weave their charismatic Catholic communism is in the fact that this study reveals their beliefs, values, ideology, forms of actors to conceive and perform actions significant changes in corporate structure. The construction of this thesis was based on the foundations of qualitative research because it translates as a search for the meanings and understandings of social behavior; is an unraveling of the significance that people give to things and their life. It was then realized that the charismatic communitarianism of the "New Life" plays the role of creating solidarity before the chaos of the daily life, it serves as a shield to the structure of plausibility that the individual creates for himself. For this, the Vida Nova Community has built a symbolic structure as a supplier of meaning, promoting the possibility of social and nomadic cohesion among its members. It follows that people adhere to charismatic communitarianism because it provides the "cure for all evils." The power of healing is a highly prized gift and is considered one of the doctrinal attributes of charismatic Catholicism. This possibility has attracted a significant contingent of followers back to Catholic churches who realize the opportunity to equate their existential and socieconomic dilemmas.
