Abstract

We aim to understand how people of the 21st century see and interpret The Women of Islamic Belief, as those women of the monotheistic religion of Mohammedan can keep integrated the doctrines of the Islamic faith. The perspective of the West permeates the world with a distorted view of the reality of these Women's lives. Women who follow Islamic beliefs feel free by faith. However it is assumed that Women in the Islamic Religion live their religious life and their customs faithful to the doctrine of the Koran. Therefore, the use of the veil is seen by women as a form of freedom and elegance. Women can be happy even though the Western world sees them as oppressed and submissive by the way they dress. Understanding the religious position of Islamic women in different Western and Eastern cultures, and the new achievements outside the cradle of Islam, is our business. For this, it is intended to verify the religious factors that differentiate Islamic Women from other women who follow other religious beliefs; To know the historical, cultural and social facts of Islamic Women; Understand historically the position of Islamic Women in the cultural divergences between the West and the East, as well as the female stereotypes. The research was carried out by studies and bibliographical researches and visits to some Mosques, with the intention of fulfilling the proposed objective. Our result tries to demystify the prejudices that one has with the religion, detecting how they follow the message of the Koran. In the first chapter I will deal with the historical and religious origin of Islam, in the second chapter I will emphasize the Women of the Islamic Religion, Khadija the first Woman to live such faith with her husband the Prophet Mohammad and in the third chapter I will analyze the conversations held at the Islamic Center in Belo Horizon and the Islamic Mosque of Anápolis. At the end we approach three films where the Islamic woman has a prominent role.
