Uma hermenêutica feminista negra: a partir de Marcos 7, 24-30

Abstract

This dissertation aims to demonstrate that the Gospel of Mark is a political-theological text that, through its messages, promotes the inclusion of people who are on the margins of society. It aims to promote, given the inclusion of marginalized people, new identities and perspectives on life. These messages are present in Jesus' actions and interactions with his disciples and with everyone who needs help, including people of other ethnicities and black women. The text highlights the remarkable actions of women, present throughout the Gospel of Mark, some as protagonists, as in the case of the Syrian-Phoenician woman, whose performance marks a new cycle and directs Jesus' gaze towards the Gentiles in a state of total lack of assistance. From this woman's action, Jesus' narrative with the Gentiles gains another perspective on life. The methodology adopted consists of the use of feminist theoretical references, observing the treatment that Jesus gives to all those excluded. The object of analysis is Jesus' actions in relation to the excluded, seeking a better understanding of the text through a black feminist perspective, to give new meaning to the readings of sacred texts through feminist and black feminist epistemologies. The text analyzed is Mark 7, 24-30. In this passage, the Syrophoenician woman initially appears seeking a cure for her daughter as an unclean spirit. In this passage, we observe important inflections in the narrative of the inclusion of the excluded. It is possible to see that a reading full of biases can distort the objective of the text. For this reason, reading from a feminist and black feminist perspective helps to rebuild fairer and less asymmetrical relationships
