A história indígena de longa duração em Serranópolis a partir das coleções líticas datadas da transição do pleistoceno para o holoceno antigo

Abstract

This dissertation is dedicated to the analysis of lithic collections from three archaeological sites in Serranópolis, Goiás, temporally related to the transítion from the upper Pleistocene to the ancient Holocene. The main objective is the analysis, anchored in the techno-functional approach, of the lithic collection of the sites GO-JA-01, GO-JA-13c and GO-JA-26, focusing mainly on the tools that hold structural and functional logic, distinct from the "plano-convex" ones. The technotypes evidenced demonstrate an important expressiveness of technical knowledge. The technical schemes and functional potentials of the lithic tools of these sites were analyzed, also understanding the technical choices involved and aspects related to the selection and management of raw materials, related to the production of objects. Throughout her work, she has striven to adopt a decolonial approach, in order to avoid the continuity of colonialist perspectives in academia. In line with this perspective and in response to an institutional demand, we propose the creation of an educational instrument, a digital serial, to disseminate part of the results of this research, through a simple and didactic language, making them accessible to the general public. The serials deal with the different perspectives of the archaeologist's work, as well as the preservation and conservation of cultural heritage, emphasizing the importance of the connection between the past and the present
